Clayton Robey - Zionsville, Indiana. 1956 Ford - Believe it or not I bought this car on Ebay 5 summers ago. Sight unseen other than pictures. It looked nothing like the car I now have and fondly refer to as the Pink Panther. The Panther was born according to its info plate, Mandarin Orange and Colonial White. When I got it off Ebay it was about 5 different colors of red and white, with matching interior. I think they tried to paint the red right over the orange. What a mess! It still won a trophy or two before I started restoring it into my dream car. Takes a MAN to drive a pink car. But I did it the way I wanted it. All I can really take credit for tho, is being the architect. Being physically not able, nor intelligent enough I had to depend on some pretty damn good friends to help me get the Panther where it is today. Slick and Ronnie Heston especially. It now has its original 312ci Y block engine. Bored out to .040 we found out when we restored it to its original showroom beauty. Its automatic transmission and other parts are original. Totally gutted and replaced the interior with a dark maroon and white interior and a dark purple carpet. Guess you can say I pimped my ride. But it is a eye grabber. Even the mayor if Indianapolis couldn't resist stopping and talking to me about it this summer downtown at a show. Got pictures to prove it lol My name is Clayton Robey and I approve this message!!!.
