August 2, 2009 - I am hosting a Classic Car Cruise-In for the Cure at Gene's Root Beer Stand in Anderson, IN on August 2nd from 5:00pm - 8:00 pm. There is no fee to attend but donations per car are appreciated. If you cruise-in in your classic car you will receive a bottomless mug of root beer "on the house" from Gene's. And there will be door prizes, raffles and a 50/50 draw.Gene's Root Beer Stand is located at: 640 S Scatterfield Rd Anderson, INThis is an event to support St. Vincent Foundation's Weekend to End Breast Cancer which is a two-day, 60k walk through the streets of Indianapolis. The goal is to raise support, awareness and funds for breast cancer research and to aid those fighting the disease. It is a low key event at a great old establishment and it's all for a good cause so come out and spend your evening with us!
