Once again we are teaming up with Discover Downtown Franklin and the Franklin Cruise Reunion to have a fun filled free night of cruising and entertainment. Cruising the downtown courthouse square will begin at 5 pm and this year cruisers can stay downtown as long as they want. At 7pm there will be a free concert at the site of the Remember Blake Car Show. This will once again be at the Franklin Community Middle School (625 Grizzly Cub Dr. Franklin IN 46131) and returning to the big stage is Indiana's number 1 rated rock band (ranked by Nuvo Magazine) RECOIL!!! August 9, 2014 - ( Franklin, Indiana.) 5th Annual Remember Blake Car Show. Located at the Franklin Community Middle School (625 Grizzly Cub Dr. Franklin, IN 46131) . Registration is from 9am till noon and awards will be at 3pm. Registration is $15.00 and spectators are free. This has become one of the biggest shows in central Indiana and features over 200 of our signature custom built metal art trophies!!!! Pre-registrations accepted and encouraged as over 400 vehicles will be enjoying this years show. As always, we offer top quality prizes for our raffles (last years prizes included a large Snap On tool box, gas powered pressure washers, Snap On and Craftsman tools, racing helmet autographed by Nascar sensation Tony Stewart, EZ Up tent, and much more). Full food court with multiple vendors, clean indoor restrooms, DJ, safe kids play zone, and more. This year we will have a special photo staging area that you won't want to miss! Photos will be available for free online after the show. This is a judged show with multiple class awards, and over 200 custom metal art awards! Following the show, there will be a police escorted cruise to the Suds in Greenwood, last year had over 150 participate in this cruise. This show is in honor of Blake Dickus who was murdered in 2006 at the age of 10. His murder is still unsolved and this show helps us keep his case in the media so that we can hopefully solve this tragic case with the public's help. All show proceeds will go to three different charities; The Youth Assistance Crime Prevention Program (administered by the Johnson County Sheriffs Department), The Franklin Boys and Girls Club, and added this year is the Blake Dickus Memorial Criminal Tip-Line Reward Fund (administered by the City of Franklin).
